Club Update - 1st June 2020
Following the latest update from government, regarding the further easing of lockdown restrictions, the Committee
are pleased to confirm that the club’s ‘play rules’ have been updated to take into account the latest guidance.
The Committee would also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to members for adhering to the restricted play rules that were introduced when the club reopened. This has meant that not only did the club reopening go smoothly, but most importantly it has ensured the continued safety of our members on court.
We remain committed to ensuring that the club provides a safe environment for its members, and therefore we include the latest ‘Return to Play’ rules in place at the club. We cannot emphasise enough the importance of following these measures and we thank you in advance for your cooperation. The most significant change to court play is that doubles play is now permitted.
Members must continue to book the four courts in use through the online court booking system. We will continue to review this on a weekly basis.
Now that lockdown restrictions have been eased further, we are pleased to confirm that we are in discussions with
the Coaching Team regarding the club’s Coaching Programme and it is our intention to provide members with an update
Lastly, we would again request that members continue to heed the government's advice if you are showing any of the symptoms associated with Covid-19 or if you are in any of the 'higher risk' categories. All members will be using the courts at their own risk.
